Sound Deadening

Recently talked to Luke and upon his advice tried to do some sound deadening on my car.

On the quarterpanel and rear wheel well I:

1. Sprayed 3M Rubberized undercoating
2. Raammat (Want to double up on the wheel wells
3. Ensolite (still need to do

What products/locations proved successful for you guys and what order should I go in? Tried to search but could not find anything overly comprehensive.

Also,

-Any decks out, or coming out this year that look great in an E30 and actually work with iPhone OS 4.2 and above? My Alpine IDA-X305 is pissing me off and thought I'd ask.

cheap but works with iphones pretty well and has bluetooth built in. personally i like the alpine units better, but to each his own.

The guy who sold raammat doesnt sell it anymore.

I did the whole regime to my car. CLD tiles, CCF, MLV, and even had the butyl rope between the door sheet metal and impact bars. I horribly took pictures and didnt keep my thread updated however :(.

Nice and quiet now tho.

• I need 3 Pre-Amps and like all the connections to be on the back of the deck
• I also like Alpines but the ida-x305 looks "ok" in the interior. Are the new model decks this year supposed to work better with iPhone 4s?

I hear ya on the IDA. I have the IDA-105 (I think, it's like the very first model, not sure on the number) and it pisses me off. I just read about this deck a few weeks ago, looks fuckin titties:

I don't like that the apps don't auto-open when you plug the phone in, and that the settings are an entirely different app, but still pretty sweet.
