Oem keyless on 25$ diy?

I was wondering if its possible to have the new bmw keys with thr 30$ keyless entry?
I dont like carrying too many keys in my pocket so I want an all in one oem key.

Thats chill. I might look into those, I dont know about the quality of the remote. How bout getting one from the dealer?

No - you have to buy the alarm - you can buy the little roundel that go in the center separately.

And it's way more than $25. It's like $150 for keyless, $200(?) for the alarm.

yeah that kit that's pictured is $130.. not $25. I wouldn't really trust a $25 kit, anyways. Your best bet is to buy that kit and either put it in an OEM housing or just buy a roundel sticker if they housing isn't rubbish

fyi the $25 kit has the same brain as the $150 kit. It's just a matter of marketing it for more because it has a mad tyte key.

where is this $25 kit? I haven't found one for that cheap yet. And that company that was linked to doesn't make a $25 kit, so i'm sure theres some variation. But yeah the extra money cause of the keys is kinda ridiculous. You can buy the same key for $10 on the bay.

i got a 25$ kit and works just fine. has a "close the windows on lockup" signal, that runs for 30 secs:-)
really need to wire that in as i got it half apart anyways.

just found some foldable ones, seller provides blank keys. you need power doors with those.
does the typical "everything". open, close, lid, windows close, start?, key, etc.
29euros (*1.3 for USD), plus 8Euros World wide shipping. Takes paypal.

if one really wants to know more and sends me a coffee, ill translate :-)

anyway, tech wise..those things should all operate like the 2.4Ghz gadgets, so they all kind of are 'encryped' or matched pairs.

intitially you pair your remote fobs with the electonics, some odd key..like a hash key is Generated and then exchanged, pairing your fobs and the device.
like wireless networking more or less.

chances are like 0% that another one with the same keyfob, or chip is almost next to you and is able to pair his with yours whilst you set it up.
or guess is, you rather win powerball jackpost 4 times in a row.



$$differences are usually casings or manufacturing, but mine have survived well for 2 years, batteries unchanged. (i have similar but not exactly these btw).


on the ebay thing above, i "could" imagine that buttons get loose with wear, and there "may" be issues with the key gettign loose at some stage. however coarse guess is 3+ years..by lookign at it vaguely.
