    Help with C33/ipod

    All,

I got a C33 from an E36 from a car at the junkyard over the weekend and got it all wired up yesterday. My question is do I need the CD Changer cable to hook up a iPod adapter or can i plug the iPod adapter right into the back of the headunit where the CD Changer plug would go?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need the CD changer cables. All the iPod adapters plug into the CD changer cable and mimic the changer. There are two cables that run to the trunk, you're going to need them both. One is just a three wire that supplies power and ground. The other is a cable for the changer itself.

FYI. U can use a grom adapter and pick whether to plug it in back of the radio or The trunk cable
