Basically, if you want just bass power, grab any smaller (400ish total, 4 ohms/mono) amp and rock with it. You don't need more than 200 watts in one of my boxes to get plenty loud...

I haz specs! These are for the SVC, but they assured me (yeah right) they were the same:

    OB-104

    Re: 3.6 ohm
    Fs: 37.41Hz
    SPL: 85.17db
    Qms: 5.64
    Qes: .38
    Qtc: .35
    Bl: 11.79TM
    Vas: 112.0L
    Mms: 55.7G (HOLY CRAP!)

    OB-124

    Re: 3.6 ohm
    Fs: 33.31Hz
    SPL: 85.97db
    Qms: 4.45
    Qes: .39
    Qtc: .36
    Bl: 18.44TM
    Vas: 103.2L
    Mms: 58.2G (again, HOLY CRAP!)

So I am pretty sure most of these specs are made up (c'mon, 2.5 grams MM difference between a 10 and a 12? Same VC size though, so maybe?) and there is no XMAX listed, but these are the specs it came with. I am beyond thrilled with these woofers...but this IS a closeout, they only have a couple hundred left. I will be producing these boxes basically forever, even though the price will go up (I only have 1 12" box left for E30s BTW, the 10's are sold out) they will always be available...the point being if you ever plan on having a sub, get off yer butt and order one of these.

    Luke

THis sub is phenomenal!!! I just installed it in luke's e30 box. WOW. This is top 5 subs I have ever heard and I have heard and owned a lot of great gear. I'm buying another just to have it I think.

Here it is next to the Kicker I was temporarily using.

Apparently the guy has some DVC versions of the same thing, so for you guys running a 5 channel or a mono amp, hit them up.

In the next week or so I am gonna see how it behaves with 900 watts RMS on it...heh...
I just ordered a dvc. Used the chat feature on the website to confirm availability and get intructions. The dvc isn't on the site.

    For $40 bucks, why not?

same power handling too? When I get mine I'll be giving it 290 rms from the Jenson.

I managed to fit this beast in the E34 box too, here is the initial prototype:

Of course, the face will be padded and upholstered.

I heard this in Luke's car last night. No joke, one of the cleanest subs I've heard. Plenty of punch for a 10". This is in contrast to the setup he just pulled which, I really genuinely believe was AMAZING already.

Thanks for posting this! Just picked one up!

Will be ready for one of your 10" deluxe boxes when you have more

What amp did you use in your wife's car? Suggestions? I don't claim to know much about sound systems. I'm def a motor head only, ha

That amp is a tiny bit much, but no worries, you should be fine.
