    Convertible rear premium speaker question

Got my new head unit installed and turns out the driver side rear speaker is blown, so I want to replace it. Is this speaker the same as the front kick panel speakers?

I don't see convertible rear speakers up for sale very often but I do see a few sets of non-convertible premium speakers for sale now. I wasn't sure if those rear speakers in the surface mount enclosure would work for me.

    Thanks.

The mids are all basically the same size. On my 'vert I needed two rear speakers and used front premiums. I bypassed the built in cross-over and they worked surprisingly well.
    Suspension tips here...

I just purchased a front premium speaker off ebay so hopefully I can just install that in the rear. Thanks for the responses.

That is what I have deduced also. Front and Rear convertible speakers are 5.25"

Now I need to find some shallow 5.25 speakers that will fit with the OEM grill in place

              Thanks!

Can someone chime in with some recommendations on which brands wont have fitment issues?
