I installed it and now the settings on the deck wont save. Also my dome lights wont work unless my key is turned and the deck is on.

What brand? Do a quick search through the proper section.

It's the wiring. Mine did the same thing when I had it installed. The shop fixed it the next day with no charge!

That's probably the problem. You wired a different deck the same way the other deck was wired. They are not all the same. Take a look at the brand/model wiring for your new deck.
