Unswitched Power in the Trunk

I just installed my Keyless system in the trunk and it all works as long as the key is on. None of my antenna stuff is unswitched. Anyone know of an unswitched source in the trunk area? It is a 92 convertible if that helps. Thanks

The red wire that goes to your power antenna is hot at all times. Connect to that and you should be good to go.

When I check it it only is hot with the key on...it is an aftermarket antenna...thanks

Bob, if that is "key on", your antenna won't go down when you shut off the car with the radio on.

Change it.

Look for a red wire in the factory antenna harness.

There is also a red/green wire that goes to the trunk light. It is hot at all times also. It will be located in the wire bundle above the power antenna.

Thanks to all...it was non stock wiring...really messed up...got some help and it is working now.
