I don't like the idea of subs in the trunk, not crisp enough for me. Cant throw them under the seats. So how about some small subs in the rear deck? Any do it?

I have done that before, a few times in fact, but only 1 on an E30.
There is an E30 here that has a 8" kicker square sub there. I recently did an old 450SEL like that, but did a pair of 8's above the gas tank.
It isn't that hard, but spend some time with a measuring tape in your trunk.
Buuuut...WTF, go for it! Don't cut those metal braces, and if you cut out too much you will break windows from body flex, so be careful.
Keep in mind the reason I build what I do is that it allows even the most audio-n00bish person to make solid, clean bass with ZERO cutting. The 12" version requires very little cutting, and those things with even 100 watts RMS make one hell of a bunch of thunder.
If you have a local guy around who has one of my boxes, see if you can go get a listen. They are not that hard to emulate, and was easier than trying to get something worth a crap in that rear deck.
On the other hand, I always like to see people trying something new, or at least different, as long as it makes sense!

I just prefer the subs to be in the car, I have always preferred it that way. And I don't think anyone is close enough to check out one of you boxes, otherwise I would. Ill see what happens. Maybe I will build a box into the rear seat... Put a box right in the middle, keep the fabric there and put a grill over it... measuring time.

Hell, I won't even do an E36 box until I find a way to master the issue with them, and we all know that would be the biggest moneymaker ever!
