How hard to repair a sub?

My friend gave me a 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch that got blown and it is repairable, I just don't know what to use. It is blown around the core.

I'll get some pics up sometime.

But what should I use to bond it back?

Post some pictures and we'll be able to let you know. What are you referring to when you say 'core'?

      Check out this place- http://www.speakerex.com/speaker_repair.html
You can send them the sub for repairs or just order the parts. Depending on how old that sub is, it may be wiser to just scrap it. Might cost you as much to repair as to replace.

I replaced the cones, surrounds, and dust caps, on my dads home theater speakers. Not hard really just take your time.

          Sold it.

Still fine just isn't pretty, and need an amp to because mine died.

Fosgate sold all of their old speaker part inventory to Orange County speaker repair...check out http://www.speakerrepair.com/ for more info.

Call Fosgate at 1-800-366-2349 to ask help on box design. I liked that woof in a huge ported box, which helps control excursion, thus preventing edge blow-out, which was a huge issue with the RFD's

                Good luck,
