My interior lights come on sometimes with HU install

I installed a blaupunt (sp?) mp33 headunit in my car which i love very much. I think i spliced some wires wrong because now the interior lights come on when i put in a cd

Your assumptions are most likely correct. Re-install it properly.

Pull the sterio back out, check all the connections and find what is wrong. We can't tell you what you did wrong, we're not there.
