making RCA's

looking for information, maybe a wiring diagram or visual aide, to build a set of "Y" RCA adapters, I'm pretty decent with a soldering iron and I'd like to try to do this myself for the experience if not to save a couple bucks...

also looking for recomendations of wire type, RCA end plugs, silver vs lead/tin solder....etc, and where to buy as I'm quite new to electrical fabrication....thanks

have you checked out monoprice.com? save some bucks and not have to worry about building your own.

I dont mind spending the money, just wanted to see do it to see if I can....my car wont be on the road for another month or so, so I got plenty of time to kill with projects and would like to make this one of them
