Yet another Central Locking thread.

Yes, I realize there have been many threads about Central Locking issues, and I'm sorry for starting another one. But I gots me some problems and questions and I need me some help!

To sum up what's been happening with my locks:
-My Central Locking was not working.
-My driver door would not lock from the outside with the key. To lock door, I had to reach in from passenger side and lock from inside.

I'm pretty sure the cylinder on the driver door is dead, but I've been told you can override it by installing a keyless system

What I did to solve these issues:
-replaced the CL module,
-replaced the relay that sits next to the CL module
-Replaced the driver door actuator (but not the cylinder)
-Installed the Omega REC-43t system


All my replacements and installments brought NO results. Still no Central Locking, no working driver door, no keyless entry.

So is there anything else it can possibly be? My only guess is that there is an issue with the wiring somewhere in the car. I'd love to be able to follow the wiring from the CL module and see if it's disconnected somewhere, but I'm not sure where the wiring goes.

anybody have any suggestions at all?

Ok, admittedly, I forgot to disconnect the battery when installing the new unit. Is it really possible that I destroyed the new unit cuz the battery was still connected?
