Hey guys,
I did a search but didn't find anything that sounded quite like my issue.
When I bought my car the license plate lights/holders were not in the car. I purchased the holders and new bulbs and popped them in awhile back but they don't do anything.
I've done a fair amount of troubleshooting and I'm not really sure what else could be wrong with them. I've checked the grounds and they're great, and I've checked continuity back to the rear lights check relay and that was fine too. I also checked voltage before the rear lights check relay(GY/RD) and I got something extremely low like .005 with my multimeter set to the 2V scale.
Thinking the only other real problem in the circuit would be the headlight switch, I replaced it with a brand new one. I now get a reading of about .026 on the 2V scale, which still seems extremely low, and the lights still do not come on. I will add that the License Plate Lights check panel light does come on whereas it never did before.
Any ideas as far as what I should do next would be greatly appreciated. What I have done thus far has been with the ETM.
