This is a lower mid range head unit. Its most outstanding feature is a pass filter for amps, often a feature of high range units.

This is a steal. The unit itself has a couple shortcomings but overall sounds great.

Whats up with the speaker connections? Do you have to use RCA style for all of the speakers?

I bought a cheap one ($200 CAD onsale for $100 and another $20 off for open box), and I figured "how bad can it be?" Well, it sounds absolutely horrible, skips like crazy, is awkward to use, just all round suck.

I've had 2 clarions and been happy with sound/performance. One of them just quit after like 4 years though, no lights or anything, fuse and power good.
