PPi or Soundstream, same speaker. Best call ever for any bigger BMW. I am gonna make adapter plates for them to fit the stock E34 locations.Leave a comment:

luke those 3 way PPI's we were talking about the other night look sweet. I found them for as cheap as $250. Love to hear them in person.Leave a comment:

The JBL is superior to those, too. The ID 6.5 is excellent, not so hot on the 5.25". Thin and kinda harsh, but the aggressive mid would likely work well in the E30...but still, not even in the same class as these JBLs.Leave a comment:

Those DLS are basic upscale components, nothing special. The JBLs roast them in every way, they are $650 MSRP, and competitive in their price range, some say the best under $1500.Leave a comment:

DAMN!!! You should have posted that couple days ago. I just got my DLS component system today. Maybe I will get this one as well and sell the DLS lol.
Guys that know about speakers, tell me what you think of the system I got:

I actually would lean towards the JBL, but I do not know if the crossover has active inputs or not.Leave a comment:

Someone should be the guinea pig for these. That's still kinda cheap in my book. Last set of componets I bought were some mb quartz q series back when they were the shit.Leave a comment:

I got the PPIs in, I bet I could do those. I could not get original ADS 320i in though, but the frame is 2" deep.Leave a comment:

Yes, e30s like many other 80s BMWs are 5.25 on all corners.
Depth should be okay at 2 3/8" curious about tweeters.Leave a comment:
