I need some good sounding speaks

What are some speakers that i can replace the stock ones with that will make the stereo sound better? can i go bigger on either location?

Are you going to run them off of the deck?

Pick up two pairs of 5.25" Infinity Reference 5002i coaxials. I'm fairly certain they'll work out just fine for you.

Only $64 per pair from www.carmedia1.com - they're legit, ive purchased from them before

I am running those speakers in the front kickpanels. They sound good, and are not too expensive. Plus, they fit right in with no modification.

for just a little more you can get the Infinity ref. components which will sound MUCH better.

Theres little hope of good sounding components when you're running it off the deck. I'd go with the coaxials unless your going to give the components the power they deserve.

is the quality just not good or what?

volume level 65 seems to be as loud as id ever want and it goes up to 80 so their should be enough power

Your deck will put out about 18-22 watts rms per channel. That's enough to drive some Reference coaxials.

Just get them, you'll be happy.

That'd also be enough to run the components right?

simply put no... components need more power.... sure they will work.. but you will be wasting your money unless you plan to amp them down the road as the head unit amp just inst going to be able to delivery what those components need to perform

Wrong. Components and coaxials are the exact same speaker, with a tiny improvement on the tweeters' crossover, just a bit better power handling.

They sound pretty much the same, but better tweeter placement helps a lot.

that may be the case with these infinity components/coax i dont know i have never seen or heard the ref. but in many cases that is not true at all...

for instance some of the older MB Quart lines.. the midrange/midbass had a significantly larger motor structure in the component version than the coax version...
