Everything's wired up and... NO SOUND!

I Have 3 RCAs to the amp. The front and rear components are wired from the amp. I've checked my wiring, the amp displays a power light, and my headunit is showing that it's playing a cd. WTF!


My setup:
Kenwood KDC-BT948HD Headunit
Jensen 5500 5ch Amp
Infinity Kappa 50.9cs front&rear
Infinity 1062w sub

Did you run new wires? Or did you use the stock ones? If you used the stock ones, it's because BMW has a common ground point with their stock stereo system. That can be bypassed by finding green rubber covers over the wires behind the stereo. Pull those off, remove the metal tabs, and wire up as necessary. Worked for me and it beat pulling new wire through the entire car.

Check that all wiring are correct. Are you getting any bass or everything is totally dead? Use a multimeter to make sure signal is going to and from the amp.

RCA outputs enabled in h/u settings? i dunno just a shot - dont remember if I had to or not when I wired up my setup

Fixed..... I tried 2 different grounds, was only getting 3.5V. I sanded to bare metal but i guess i didn't do a good enough job. After grinding the shit out of the chassis I'm finally full power! Sounds great!
