    Stock radio not getting power

Decided to put my stock radio back in. This seems to be a much more tedious process than putting any other aftermarket head unit in..

I can't get the radio to receive power, And yes I believe I have all the wiring correct. The ground and positive connector are on the radio correctly. When I put my car to accessory and use the multimeter, I'm only getting 0.03V out of the ground and positive. What gives?

I've been putting thought into this.. trying to come up with something useful..

I guess one thing I'd try first is to use an established/different ground point - and see if that helps. (easy first)

After that - I dunno.. Looks like the red/power wire there hanging out of dash..
      the yellow ignition/power wire..
      then, I-don't-know-what's-going-on-with-the-blue(turn-on)-tri-junction
Pretty sure the factory ground wire is brown. (which I can't seem to find)

after that - the twisty little 'common gound' factory speaker wires were always a complete bewilderment to me (looks like cluster-fuck city in that department. lol). I alway bypassed those altogether with my own speaker wire - so I could plug the twisty factory wires back in as they were if needed..

      Shit. Good luck.

Ahhh. The thing is I had the radio running two days ago when I first wired it in. It was just running off the purple and brown power wires, not the yellow constant 12V, and not that red wire which I don't know what it is. I pushed the radio into it's position and left it there cause there's a wiring mess
And I had to drive to school, and it didn't work after that. My Only guess is that I shorted something out

          Anymore methods of diagnosing guys?
I just got my interior together, all laundry'd and vacuumed with recaros and a new shift knob and it would be awesome to have a functioning stock radio to complete the look.

If you haz no voltage, find out why.

Sounds to me like you popped a fuse.
