Starter and Euro gauge cluster questions!!!!

After I did my m30 swap I wasnt getting power to my blower motor, windows, sunroof, aux fan, after car was started. These items work if you turn the key 2 clicks. Radio and wipers work regardless of key position. I understand that power is killed to certain components during startup. Can some one school me on what the problem may be and what the k5 and k7 relays do. Below is how the starter is wired up. car is an 89 325is so i went from the late starter to early. 89 harness was used but connectors were modified

Before I was able to fix the above problem i tried to install a euro gauge cluster. Most of the cluster was functional and accurate including the tach, speedo, milage counter, coolant temp, and L/km gauge. Everything was illuminated as it should. The gas gauge was not functioning correctly (obc gas level was also way off) and the windows, sunroof, aux fan and blower motor were not working in any key position. radio and wipers worked in any key position. Is there a certain way to convert the cluster?

the white plug = coding plug.

You can also swap all the parts internally into the other cluster.

my cluster consists of a VDO body, VDO Tach, Motometer Speedo, Motometer fuel gauge, and a VDO temp gauge.
