Anyway to test OEM BMW radio with touch slider CM5908 on BMW with fader switch?

I have an OEM BMW CM5908:

But, my car is an 87 BMW with the fader switch. Is there a way to test out this radio to make sure it is working perfectly. As I am not looking to keep the radio, but just want to test it to make sure everything is working perfectly then sell it and put my other stock radio back in that uses the fader switch.

Yes, give it power, connect speaker and test away.
