    Luke - please read - CDX-L600X question

    Luke,

I am putting this damn thing in the 89 525i i am selling, and want to know if the speaker negatives (white/black and grey/black) and (green/black and violet/black) can be wired together?

I want to just re-use the stock 6 speaker wires that go to the trunk, they are bunched into 3s...one group with 3 wires, and another with 3. So basically if I the sony has common negative, I could connect the white/back with grey/back and use a single wire, and do the same with green/black + violet/black.

then in the trunk I can connect the 6 wires for the 4 channels from the sony headunit with the GE/WS;GW/BR for the front left mid and BL/WS;BL/BR for the front right mid..... and the GE/BL;GE/GR for the left rear and BL/SW;BL;GR for the right rear.

    Yes/no?

I just want the car to run with 4 5.25" coax speakers that are already in it W/O any amp and just this deck.

    :)

no way to get the factory amp back in it?

If you have to do combined ground, the balance and fader will not work properly and the deck will overheat, plus it will not sound near as good.

See if you can get the stock amp/speakers up and running, then it is super easy to do the deck.

    Closing SOON!
