Ignition Problems

i Bought a car that has no key and the previous owner tried to hot wire the car or something, but didn’t do a good job. they pulled off the plastic around the steering Colum and cut a random selection of wires, and none of the wires cut where even connected to the ignition and I have been able to figure out a few of the wires and they are random thing like the windshield washer fluid and the radio and a few more.

So I need to figure out what wires I need to connect to turn the engine, so far I have been able to connect the red and green and I can get all of the cars electronics to turn on( it’s like when you turn the key all the way but stop before you would turn the engine) but I have not been able to figure out how to actually turn the engine so if anyone could help me out it would save allot of time because my other option is just replacing the steering Colum

Also can I have some help on what these wires are?
Purple Black
White
Yellow
Solid Purple
Green Gray

On the right side associated with cruise control and wipers
Solid brown
Black red
Black blue

Am and I right on these
Blue Black turn signals
Blue Red Horn
Green purple Radio
Black brown washer fluid
Sorry for such a long post I’m just try to see if ma "new" car will run
Oh and I was able to disengage the wheel lock

nevermind the first part got it started but i still need to know what those wires are
