I recently re-did my cluster- New si-board- Painted needles-did not remove them- replaced odo gears. Now everything is perfect except when i'm going about 55 my speedometer says i'm going 75 what could have changed i never removed the needles and the speedo was the only thing that worked before the rebuild.

on the back of the speedo there is a screw head looking thing. From what I understand that varies the resistance of the speedo head. It's used for tuning it at the factory. Perhaps you inadverdantly moved it. -
Ok found that little screw thing moved it and yep that is it now it's adjust follow the wife pull it back out adjust a little more this is something i wish i knew not to do before because this sucks. after 6 tries I think I may be exact neighbor is a cop did me a favor clocked me at 56 with cruise at 55 and 80 with cruise at 80. wasted 10 hours of my life.Comment
