    fuse #10 keeps popping

As the title states, fuse #10 keeps going out. So in this Texas heat, that means my blower motor shuts off and my tach quits working. Then followed by the rest of my gauges shortly after.

so originally it's a 10a fuse, but all i had was a 15a. so that one busted after a few days and all i had was a 25a. i'm going to get a fuse set tonight after work but was that my problem right there? (putting the 15 in there)

Would't let me delete-- mods delete if you want

Found out it's most likely my reverse light wiring which makes sense because i just replaced the trans a couple weeks ago and put the wiring on last hah.

My number 10 was blowing and the shift select light was shorting. took a while to find and alot of things go through that fuse. good luck.

Mine is blown. My reverse lights don't work and neither does my tach or blower. (Though occasionally, when I start the car, they work for a second before shutting off) Which wires should I look at?

I had this last time and it was due to a worn AC aux fan that wouldn't turn. I guess it built up the resistance until the fuse blew.

Replaced the fan and no probs since.

:drink:disconnect those and see if it keeps popping....if it doesnt then youll just have to roll around with reverse lights

Thread resurrection! I was looking at this today, and I couldn't figure out how to get the wiring off the switch reverse light switch. It looked like you just pull the wiring off the body, but it didn't come off easily, so I stopped before I broke anything. Any thoughts?

Also, I measured continuity across the switch in 1st, neutral and reverse, so I'm hoping that's the answer to my problems.

Theyre just spade connectors. Pull em off the switch. Might need a long flat-head to help.
