You sound frustrated and overwhelmed. First off is the battery good and does the car turn over? If not then you need to trace the ignition circuit. I believe there are links on R3V to E30 wiring diagrams. If car cranks but wont start you need to check for spark, fuel, and compression. Not sure why you replaced the parts you did and how you determined the ECU's got fried. I'm going away for a few days and so I can't respond to your issue right now but I think that if you present the problem you are having with some more specifics as to how car was running (or not), what happened and why you changed the parts you did then others may be able to help. Do you have a Bentley manual and a test light and an multimeter? With these you will be able to test and diagnose most everything. Good luck and don't be discouraged. Many of us were in a similar situation regarding cars in the past. The E30 is a great car and not as difficult to deal with as it may seem at first...but the learning curve can be rough especially if that is your main vehicle.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. -Mark Twain
