Any thoughts on Pioneer AVIC-N1 GPS Monitor System?

Hey guys-
I was looking around for a new stereo and I found the AVIC-N1 by Pioneer. This thing does just about everything!! It plays DVD's, has touch-screen navigation, radio, sat radio, input and outputs for anything you would ever want... but they are around a grand...
I want a sweet setup for my M3, and this thing definatly is sweet, but I am not sure if I need something this wild. I want navigation, I want satelite radio, and I want a nice looking stereo setup. I don't really care about watching movies in my car, but I do want quality audio.

Let me know what you guys think. I figure I need a new head-unit anyhow as mine is pretty old now (had it over 4 years) and I want navigation/sat radio without adding any chaos to my dash. If there are other systems out there like this one for less money or that are better quality, please point me to them, and the best place to purchase such a unit.

You'll need to compliment it with some nice amps and speakers to justify the purchase.

Well, I have a JL 12W3 woofer and MTX amp in the trunk. I will need some new components for inside the car and a nice 4 channel amp to run them...

Just putting it out there, never actually seen it, there is an Alpine unit that is supposed to be like the AVIC. I heard the Alpine is supposed to maybe match the dash and interior a little better :)

the alpine pulse touch screen is soo nice (300 and 310 models)... but once you buy the audio processor to go with it and the navigation unit and maybe the breakout box for video you looking at quite a bit of an investment
