Installed a new headunit and im not sure what to hook this acc "red" wire to. The previous owner ran new speaker wire , im getting excellent sound but when I hook the acc wire to lets say purple the headunit will power on correctly but my #23 fuse will blow. If I hook the acc to the green/brown wire the head unit works and wont blow the fuse but it stays on when I take the key out of the ignition. I've read on other forums that the yellow wire is power but the only yellow wire I have is coming from the headunit wiring harness. Wiring is not my favorite, im trying to figure out which wire to crimp this "red acc wire" to so that I don't blow anymore fuses and this headunit shuts off when I pull the key out of the ignition.
