Power Window Goes Up But Not Down

Got the car with a non working LR window, checked the switches and wasnt them.
I got a new motor, plugged it in the door with the non-working window before i mounted it but, the window motor will only go in the up direction.

Any trouble shooting ideas, Im thinking bad ground but where would i check?

    Again, the switches work

    Any help would be great

With a problem like that %99 of the time its a switch. The other %1 is its mechanical, but you would hear the motor/see the lights in the car dim with the load.

Take the switch apart and clean the contacts, or buy new(used) ones - while you're in there clean the back of the lit up part with a q-tip. It will make them a bit brighter at night. Also, don't spray armor-all on the switches.

I swapped the switches with known working switches (Front and Back from other door) not working.

Im gonna see what voltage in getting in the down position, polarity will be reversed right?

not too likely that it is a bad ground.

It is very likely to be a bad regulator though. The early car regulators have a bad pivot wear issue, when it wears out the gear slips, and that is no bueno on a worm drive...
