I stumbled upon this Boston Acoustic brochure from around 1990:

As I was scrolling through I came to the section titled, "rear deck" and immediately recognized it as an E30, then read the caption below that confirmed it was an '88 325i. Then I came to the picture of the Eagle Talon dash and immediately recognized that also from being a former DSM'r.

I'm currently working on putting together a set of the RC61 rally components that I plan to use in the front of my IX. Guess I'm just a sucker for trying to acquire the older stuff that I couldn't afford while in high school.

Speaking of old skool... I often remember a set of Infinity Beta 6.5" components that I had to piece together in the late 90s because they had been discontinued. One of my favorite sounding setups. I suppose this is why they say that nostalgia isn't what it used to be...
