Suggestions on RCA adapters and where to buy them?

Planning on re-using the premium sound wiring to run 4 of the 6 channels of my amp setup, per Luke's suggestion. Need a recommendation on where (and what) RCA to speaker wire connectors to by. I'm capable with a soldering iron so solder or crimp is fine by me.

Why wouldn't you just cut the ends off whatever nice rca cables you can find and splice them in? I'm curious to Lukes answer here. Subscribed

RCA cables you buy have coaxial designed wires and are kind of a bitch to work with. Honestly though, I would just pick some up from radio shack. It really isn't going to matter much in the end. I've used these several times before with good results:

The rat shack stuff seems iffy... User reviews are pretty poor. Anyone else have success with them? Other ideas?

RCA cables don't splice so easy. If you are using shielded cables you will lose some of the shielding. RCA jacks on RCA cables sold retail are basically unusable, they are sealed to the cable at the factory.

Radio Shack is hit and miss for parts, you have to read the reviews. When I only need 1 or 2 pieces and I need them right away, I'll pay the convenience markup of them stocking it locally in a brick and mortar. Otherwise it's by far better to order electronics parts online from someplace reputable like Parts-Express.com or Digi-key. PartsExpress has good reviews which can help you decide, Digikey is more pure wholesale if you know what you're looking for.
