    Battery Drain

My old battery was having trouble keeping a charge so I purchased a new one but a few days later of not starting the car, the new battery is dead. All the ignition parts have been recently replaced so I know for sure that something is draining the battery. My locks have recently stopped working and my driver's side window occasionally malfunctions so I think there is a short somewhere. Any ideas?

Do that. Now, start pulling fuses until you find the one that is drawing all the current.

I disconnect the negative when I do it. Also you should use a shunt across the terminal and connector attach your multimeter leads then remove the shunt. Of course make sure all interior lights are off, and I usually let the vehicle sit for 10 minutes at a resting state to get accurate readings.

Check the Factory amp if you have one (located behind the antenna close to the back seat in the trunk). I had the same problem with a power drain and I did the test in the video above and started checking fuses. got it down to having something to do with my stereo. It was my AMP that had shorted out. unplug your amp and check your battery drain. If it reads normal its time for a new amp or to bypass the stock amp like I had to. There is a great sticky for this! Good luck.
