What's your favorite head unit? And why?

I'm looking to get a good 6 channel head unit. the one I've got in it was given to me from a friend but its brighter than a freaking disco ball, btw I'm not a fan of clubbing while driving

Depends on what you are looking for, but I'm repurposing an older Alpine unit, the CDA-7998 for my E30 vert. No amp in the head unit, 6 channel 4v pre-outs, which is great for my application, and the display folds into the deck when the power is off, leaving a clean black plastic spot in the dash of the vert that will not attract the thieves. Plus, it was lying around, which made it free, and the orange illumination is a good match for the E30.
