Not sure where to plug in a certain wire, also anti lock light

After taking the cluster and the lower dash panel to change the odo gears, I'm having trouble locating where I can plug in a certain wire. I want to say it goes back to the cluster, but there's no place to plug it into. It's a blue and green wire. On the adapter or plug at the end, it says "AMP 926569" on one side, on the other side it says "BMW 1369229"

possible side note: I'm not sure if it's related, but my "anti lock" light now comes on and stays on constantly. It's a 1989 325i, and I don't see the silver ABS relay anywhere, I've looked forever. I've seen it on other cars of the same year at the junkyard but not on mine. It's supposed to be next to the silver box but it's just not. There is an orange relay which if I'm not mistaken, is the overcharge/voltage relay. Was this double purposed as the ABS relay in the later models? Or is the relay in the ABS pump?

Your cruise control doesn't work anymore does it? That wire looks like the cruise control connection to the green (snap-in) connector on the back of the speedometer - on the back of the cluster. You can use any of the three male connections on the green connector for that wire.

^ like he said re: the wire plugging into the green jack.

as for the pump. I don't believe any relay was ever built into the abs pump.

I actually haven't driven the car around since I took the cluster out so I couldn't tell you if I'm lacking cruise control, not to mention I've never used it, thanks a lot though! I'll hook it up when I fix my other problem.

Well I mean, I read on some other forum, that the ABS relay for later models was actually in the ABS pump instead of inside the lower dash. I couldn't find it anywhere under the dash so I gave the ABS pump a try and I saw this. Is this the ABS relay? It looks different then the relay from early models, but it has the same aluminum case as the other one. It has 6 pins instead of the usual 5, and it has pins 30, L1, 85,86,87, and 87a. The part number is 0 332 205 004 and it's made by BOSCH.

Well, now you know where the ABS relay is but... does a bad relay cause the light to stay on? I don't know.

Yeah supposedly if anything is wrong, or not connected the ABS light comes on, and if that light it on, that means ABS is disabled completely!
