I currently have a Pioneer DEH-P2600 installed and it sounds ok, I payed about 100 bucks for it about a year ago. Now that I've come into some money I have been looking at an Alpine CDA9847. It looks alot better and it lights up amber, but will I actually get any difference in sound quality? Otherwise anybody got any brighter ideas for a better head unit for 200 bucks or less?

Pioneer is crap. Get the Alpine. A couple kids here have that model, looks alrite, the amber doesn't match 100%, but its good enough. Alpine sounds a lot better than Pioneer too.

I've got that Alpine, and I couldn't be happier. I think the lighting matches very well. Can't say much of the improovment on sound quality as I was using a realy old and crappy deck before so the Alpine was leaps and bounds better.
