Need a little direction here...hours of searching have only left me more confused.

I recently removed my Keyless entry/alarm system. With the system on, unlock button unlocked all doors and the trunk, lock button would lock them all..everything worked. Now with the alarm removed, things are fubar.

Here is the current state of operation of my locks:

Drivers door will lock the entire car, and unlock just the drivers door. Double lock function also works.

Trunk will lock the entire car, but only unlock trunk. (prior to alarm install, it would unlock entire car)

Passenger Door will lock will lock entire car, will unlock just itself.

Now I thought that the drivers door would lock/unlock the entire car, same thing with the trunk lock?

I already removed the CLS module, it looks fine. The relay next to it can be heard clicking, I think its operable. And the actuators on both doors are functioning. Driver door cylinder is brand new. I already lubed everything, checked connections in the wiring, checked the door open/close switches are functioning.

How is the system supposed to operate?

Driver's door and trunk should both un/lock entire car. Driver's door controls double lock function. I have a 92 convertible (E30) that is essentially stock, and it works as I described.
