    You may not be aware that I have been a professional installer since 1980. My screen name is not just a name, it is what I do...makes sense, right?

    That was about the smallest system I had ever had in a daily driver, most have been much bigger. I personally "need" a huge system like that because I use it to show people what I do. IMO, no one "needs" a car stereo at all, but no one "needs" a car either.

    Most people, including industry professionals (such as myself) agree that my car was one of the best sounding car stereo systems they had ever heard, bar none. My goal is not SPL, but clarity and dynamics, both of which are MUCH harder to achieve.

    The next one will be much sillier. I can't wait to get started on it!

          LOL I can hear my neigbors fart can civic prob 3/4 of mile away....... doesnt mean it sounds good far nor near. still dont listen to me i am an amatuer thats been messing with e30s for about 18 years and have tried pretty much everything to get great sound. Then the LUKE box miracle appreared and when it comes to e30 acoustics sorry we are all novice to this guy. Listen to him........ or better yet read the cabrio box thread and go from there....

            Personally, the thing I like about Luke's box in my car....Is that I can't hear it from outside. I have a lot of sound proofing, but it's loud enough to hurt my ears inside, but you can barely make out a rumble if outside... I like efficiency.
