There's a few super cheap woofers that are actually pretty good, and the good thing is, the box is really what matters most.
A 30$ pyle woofer in a perfect box will sound much better then a 200$ woofer in a bad box. I don't believe in pre-fab boxes but I have heard some that sound alright.
