New head unit, amp delete in '87 325is with premium sound

I'm getting my interior back together from the previous owner, all of the radio/fader wiring has the plugs cut off, but I have all the wiring labeled. I want to delete the fader and the factory amp, but this is a premium sound car, so I know it has some screwy wiring. Now, I'd like to use as much of the original wiring as possible, so if anyone has a tips or pointers as to how to go about doing this I'd really appreciate it. I really don't want to run all new wiring all over the car. I've searched all over, but haven't found much on the early model premium sound cars, I thought there was a way to delete it all if going about with a new head unit. Thanks in advance.
