E30 Antennae wiring help..

Fellow Enthusiasts:

Managed to rewire an aftermarket Sony deck this weekend and everything works well. My only problem is how to set up the Power Antennae to go up/down when the system goes on.

I notice 2 wires (yellow/white) that were connected to the rear of the OEM deck. Where does that hook up to?, POWER/ACC on the deck?

I downloaded the ETK diagrams and neither say which color antennae wire goes where.

I might just opt to trying to fore-go the power antennae and just try to wire the long black plug in the trunk to the rear defroster as StereoInstaller said in a few previous posts.. Who knows.. That's easier than trying to figure out which of the 3 power antennaes I have work.. LOL..

The white wire should be connected to the solid blue wire on the back of your head unit.

The yellow wire - I think - is for the illumination dimmer when switching your headlights on and you can optionally connect that as well, to whichever wire on the Sony controls that.
