Posted in the interior section and might as well try here since it is related with the car electronics.
Hey guys,
I searched through different boards and through this board but couldn't find anyone really relating with the same type of scenario.
Story:
My 6 button obc always had the matrix thing going on. It never bothered me as when I pressed on the center it would go away for about couple of minutes then do its thing.
Well about a month ago I was driving and I just heard a "pop" and smelled something like burnt plastic come from the center console region. Figured it finally went and was time for a new one. Wrong.
Right now this is what I'm experiencing:
- Getting .9v from 2 pins from the green plug (can't really tell which pins they are) = Is this normal?
- If the voltage output is low what could be causing this? (I heard of the obc relay causing people to stall but would a faulty obc relay cause the obc to not get power?
It obviously makes sense if it isn't the obc, it has to be the relay. Just looking for conformation before I go ripping up the front of my car. Thanks guys.
