    Premium Speakers Question

My car came with blown out rear speakers. I just took a look at them and it looks like the stock speakers were replaced with some old Sony Xplode's that blew out. I'm looking at replacing them when some Rockford Fosgate Primes but was wondering about the tweeter pods in the rear speakers.

There are two green wires coming from them that are currently not connected to anything, where are these supposed to go?

They orginal piggy backed onto the OEM speakers. If you have ever seen the OE speakers they have some batter shaped item and wrie around them. That was the crossovers/choker for the tweeter.

run to the shack and bring your tweeter with you, buy a resistor and tee it off the speaker wiring.
