speaker level or line level for factory amp

Should I supply the amp with a line in or a spkr in? I never thought about this till today looking over the wiring schematic for my car.

I assume you are installing an aftermarket deck? If so, bypass the amp completely and run the speakers off deck power. The deck is higher power then the stock amp anyway.

I already talked to Luke about doing this a while back, and he says it won't make a difference on my car. Plus my car has 8 speakers, so I need the amp to supply the tweeters and what not correctly.

I hooked up line outs to my amp. It doesn't really make it sound any different, but I did notice the max level on my stereo is not as loud, probably like all factory speakers, you can't go loud enough to really blow your ears. I may switch it back but we'll see if the current setup balances out the sub that's going in, better than spkr out w/sub out.
