Hmmm. A bit large, but I think they'd look really nice if you put some new black grille cloth on there. They would probably look ghetto if they weren't leather wrapped.

I bet someone paid well over $1K to get those panels made. Labor only too, another $500 in speakers.

Now, 20 years later, they look like ass. I mean, a quick refresh, some new grille cloth, whatever, they would look pretty spiffy...but DAMN they are huge too!

The $99 deck and the $129 amp make it look like someone jacked all the good stuff it must have had once upon a time.

Looks like Audioforms or Z-Box products from back in the day.

No, those were custom, and hand-stiched leather. Neither Z-box (ABS garbage) or Audioforms ever made anything for the E30...but yeah, same idea. There were dozens of companies selling stuff like that, but I never saw any that were worth the money.

So is it just me, or is that a really good deal on what appears to be well kept M3? I know it's a good time to be a buyer, but this is the best E30 M3 condition/price combo I've seen in a while.

I have never seen the Z Box stuff for BMW's, but they did have leather stitched parts for Porsche, my friend was a dealer and sold a couple pairs to one customer.
