    radio removal.

    I have a crappy alpine cda-9857 and its not coming out. The dumb thing doesnt use din clips. Please help.

            You need to make some flat metal insert pins to slide into the slots on either side of the deck approx 4-5 inches. They are for releasing the tabs that auto lock once you push the deck in. Cut up something thin like the thickness of a CD roughly 1/4" wide by 4-5"long.
            Slide them in both sides (you can see the slot in your pic) and try to tug at the deck. It's pretty simple actually. Good luck
