Will 12v to negative speaker output of your radio destroy it?

Something shorted and I grounded 12v to the negative side of my external output. The radio doesnt turn on and I tried the hard reset. Im gonna pull it and check the fuse in the back.

Yeah, you likely smoked a ground trace inside the deck, especially if it was already grounded.

WTF, take that shit apart, see what has happened.

You either just blew a fuse, or if there's no fuses you most likely destroyed one, if not multiple voltage regulators on the pcb.
