Help with wires!

Hey all I have two wires that have been cut from my loom inside the car. The loome is the one that runs from the passengers side to the driver side round the where the consul should be one wire is blue/white the other is green/white any one have any idea what they are for?

Reverse light on my '89 manual transmission.

There should be a connector on the end of those wires to connect to other half of connector going down into bottom shift boot then to switch on transmission.
