stock radio, tape player keeps cycling tracks?

So I got one of those cassette aux cable adapters to hook up my ipod to the radio, but it keeps cycling through the tracks 1-2. The music plays on track 1 for about a second then cycles to track 2, then back to 1 etc.

Is this some kind of setting I cant find, or is my radio just messed up?
