    parasitic current draw from OBC?

my OBC was unplugged and i think i might know why now...
when i shut my car off, no matter how long it sits, my OBC stays on. the lights on it shut off with the car but i can walk out to my car right now in broad daylight and real the clock.
is it supposed to do this? my car seemed to have a hard time starting today like the battery was weak.

The LCD in there takes up next to zero power. It's the same type of display that are in light powered calculators. And it's power that it needs to keep the clock's quartz crystal oscillating.

      ;)
