TRU Super Billet 6 Stage III with burr-brown OPA26. Same OP amps in the SSLD6i line driver. Will probably upgrade these in the line driver if I don't like the way they sound. My front stage should enjoy this :) Hopefully the MECA judges will too.

Yeah they are great amps. Even though Zapco and Arc audio are great amps, this will be a step up.

This amp will run the front stage. All Hybrid Audio Technologies Legatia speakers. L6v2 7.1 inch Midbass in the kicks, L3SE in the dash and L1 Pro R2 tweeters in the stock bmw sails to be added. Although the system doesn't even need tweeters with the way the L3s play. It is going to be done mainly for sound stage reasons for competitions.

The sub is an Image Dynamic IDMAX12 in a box Luke made me especially for the sub and car. This is powered by a Arc Audio 1000.1

their site kinda sucks. But as far as comparable amps think, Mosconi, McIntosh, Sinfoni and maybe Arc SEs.

I would put the True amps above Mosconi and Arc, probably around McIntosh, Sinfoni for sure.

I need to find a HAT dealer up here in Canada, I want to run some of their speakers in my E30. I met Scott a while back at the IASCA finals in '92, super awesome guy, listened to his Altima for at least 20 minutes (the 240 was under wraps at the time).

No matter where you put Sinfoni or Macintosh, just make sure to use quick disconnects so you can pull them to ship easier. Both are junk IMO. I will take a crappy Jensen that works over another dead Macintosh anyday.

Yeah Scott is awesome. His Silva and G35 are soooo sick and both sound incredible. I really really love the way HAT speakers sound. More than the nice Morel, JBLs and Dyns. The HAT stuff is the first time I have ever really been happy with a setup. You can always email them to see what dealer is closest.

lol. Yeah, I personally think McIntosh amps have no balls. Especially when compared to the TRU, or even "lower market" stuff. And mosconi's sound just like from where they are made. Italian. But I do really like the Arc Audio SEs. The deal on this amp was just to good for me to pass up and it was perfect for what I needed. And I have heard the same setup run with few different amps and this one sounded the best, especially with the line driver. Also, if I was to spend under $300 on an amp it would be one of those Jensons. They aren't half bad at all. I mean I had one in my e30. lol. But this TRU is in a different world.
