OEM Data Cable/CD Changer to iPhone/iPod connection

I have searched this forum and couldn't find it so if it's already out there I apologize...

I have a stock deck/system that has the data cable output for a factory CD changer. Do the make a unit that would attach to that data cable and let me control my iPhone? I have the tape adapter now, but am looking for something a little cleaner looking that will allow me to charge and play music.

Yes they make those, do they make one for your particular car? I don't know, what car is it?

In all my years of installing I have never ever heard of one.

I have searched everyone from Ungo (anyone remember their "slide out" kit?) to Peripheral to PIE, even the fairly obscure ones...I have never seen one ever.

On the other hand, I do have both the Alpine changer that was found in the last of the E30s and the earlier Pioneer M Bus changer and 5 or 6 "slider" decks for both of the respective changers, so I can at some point hack on that project...in my spare time.

Yeah, the switch was 100% by '91.

It may be years though, there are lots of better things to do IMO.

I have the same deal. OE deck with data cable. Would like to hook it up to an iphone/aux. How sells the set?
